A forum open to all accredited diplomats and diplomatic spouses/partners in the UK.
Our mission is to help diplomats and their families make the most of their London posting. We do this by providing practical information as well as opportunities for diplomats and their families to connect with each other and useful contacts via our portfolio of Embassy Events, including the flagship Embassy Induction Seminar for new arrivals – the ideal introduction to
diplomacy and life in London.
The Embassy Network also supports the work of London’s many diplomatic clubs and associations, including the Diplomatic Spouses Club in London, providing connection and continuity in this ever-changing and dynamic diplomatic community.
We give young people the speaking and listening skills and cultural understanding they need to thrive.
The ESU is a member-based organisation with a charitable purpose. We empower young people with oracy and communication skills that allow them to confidently engage with the world. Through our national and international competitions, we provide young people with cultural exchange opportunities which broaden their horizons, enable them to develop a global perspective and build connections around the world.
Dartmouth House, a grade II listed Mayfair townhouse, has been the home of the ESU since 1926. It provides a meeting place for ESU members and hosts regular events as well as ESU competition finals. The ESU is partnering with DSCL to provide access to Dartmouth House to DSCL members, supporting our mission to bring nations together to exchange dialogue, knowledge, and cultural understanding.
